Background: Through a grant from Lilly Endowment Inc., The Paul Family Fund and the Levin Family fund, we offer workshops on Holocaust Education Pedagogy for Indiana educators. These workshops are approved for professional growth points by the Department of Education. Utilizing local and national experts in Holocaust education, the workshops provide teachers with tools and techniques to teach this historically complex topic. We emphasize how to make Holocaust lessons meaningful for today’s students.
We partner with U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, Yad VaShem, The Anti-Defamation League and the USC Shoah project for all our workshops.
Best Part: We will pay for substitute teachers for the first 15 teachers who register.
